This daylily is favorite, and I have no idea what it is called. It also doesn't spread as quickly ad the others- to my chagrin. This is one plant I will have to take with me if I ever move.

Wash Area Almost Done

Here is the nearly finished wash area. Pretty neat! It has become a convenient place to display some of our more unusual rocks. I think I am going to do a little work with the hose, like routing it under the ground to a Y instead of having the Y at the faucet. That is a newly planted honeysuckle growing up the trellis.

Mockorange

Here is a mock orange we planted yesterday. It's a Golden Mockorange (Philadelphus coronarius 'Aureus'). The area was thick with irises that we are replanting and sharing with our neighbors.

Queen Bee says...** This is the area we use to hose off our boys after their frequent romps in the mud. It used to be just nothing but mud itself which caused frustration. We used it for the first time last night and it was splendid! Thanks, Hubby for all your hard work on this!!! **

Osteospermum

Planted two Osteospermum (Osteospermums? Osteospermi? What's the plural?!?) under the bird feeder a couple weeks ago. Just haven't had a chance to post about it.

Speaking of the bird feeder, we have to fill that thing almost daily. Our regular visitors include Red Finches, House Finches, Mourning Doves, BLue Jays and a mischievious squirrel. This squirrel just loves to taunt out dog. He'll get a morsel then sit right on our front porch while the dog is watching him through the screen door. Our poor dog goes nuts!

We have a baby- a perfect mix of two older flowers...

Discovered another surprise in my garden the other day- a lavender Iris- which was never planted by either of us. Apparently our dark purple and white irises decided to procreate and give birth to a wholly new color of Iris!

Questionable plant #3 turned out to be a Primrose. Oh, happy day!

I had planted a primrose close to that spot last year, but nothing came back up in its spot so I figured it was dead. But apparently it somehow reseeded itself and came up in several other, nearby places. Shiny.

Yet another Unidentified Growing Object. I was thinking this was going to be Chocolate Ajuga, but now that it's gotten bigger, I find that it's not. Any ideas?

Here's another plant that I can't identify. Is it a weed? Should I pull it? Someone help, please!
This is the bae of the plant. It now has seed pods, but before that it had tiny little light pink flowers all over on the tall stalks.

Pansy, Yellow

And here's the last store-bought new addition to our flower garden. This is HL's plant. He chose it and it's location which is along the south side of the front walkway. I love that he enjoys gardening with us!

We did also dig up several plants from Hubby's sister's house, but they're just little cuttings and not picture-worthy yet. Let's see, we took Shasta Daisies, Asters, and several others which no one knows for sure. I love adventure....

This plant caught my eye in the store last week and I just could not resist. I've never seen anything quite like this. since it requires shade, I planted it just SW of the Ponderosa's trunk.

Here is one of the new plants we just put in the ground. This particular one happens to be HL's; he picked not only the plant, but it's location in our garden; under the Sand Cherry south of the garage. It's called Dwarf Tickseed- something I've never had before- looking forward to see it grow!
